Great books!

These dragon books are wonderful, started them when my son was about 3 years old and he still requests them at 9 years old! Great lessons.

Good preparation book for doctor-anxiety

The book gives a good overview of what a wellness visit looks like for children going to see their pediatrician. The only recommendation I have is that I wish the book mentioned that a doctor may need to look at a child's private parts, and that in the cases of medical examination, this is a safe experience and the child should not be afraid. I believe this particular issue is explored in Diggory's book on safe touch, but it might have been a good idea to touch on it in this book as well.

Brilliant

Working with children that have emotional and behavioural problems finding these books have been a great asset. This is a great book to read to children that have a fears of visiting the doctor. I have purchased quite a few from this series and this one has not been a disappointment.
