Good story for young audience to learn how to learn coping skills

I enjoyed reading this book with my grandchildren ages 4; 3; almost 2. The 4 year old seemed to better understand the concept of counting to 5 when an unpleasant situation arises. The connection to the senses has not yet been incorporated. I felt that was too much, too soon for this age group. The author really could have stopped the story with the introduction of the counting to five. The test of the concepts could have been introduced in a part 2. Maybe we can revisit that portion later.

Great book!

I have not met a book in the dragon series and I have not liked! It is a great book and a good way to explain difficult topics to children. I would definitely understand.
