But what if your dragon is constantly worrying when he’s separated from you?

  • What if he’s refusing to go to sleep without you being by his side?

What should you do?

You teach him that with LOVE, there will be unbreakable connections between us…

Wonderful book for separation anxiety

My daughter is 5 years old and going to work has been a battle for the past 6 months. She also refuses to go to sleep alone. She loves the dragon books and this one is probably one of the best in the series- we have about 8.The author here talks to children in ways they can understand that it is OK to be away from loved ones, that love keeps us together even when we are apart. Digoty Doo becomes an example of how to deal with separation, and the little one can relate to him easily. It even talks about dealing with separation when you see one parent on the weekend, or when a parent is gone for a long period of time (eg. in the army) or forever. We received it yesterday and she already asked me to read it twice. We highly recommend it!

For my daughter and transitions

I love these series of books, they've been very helpful in dealing with my daughter's transitioning and understanding that divorce is a process. It's especially important that through this book we let her know she had nothing to do with the situation that we're in.
