A Story About Emotions and Feelings (My Dragon Books – Volume 51)

Having a pet dragon is very fun! He can sit, roll over, and play…

He can candle a birthday cake, lit a campfire, or so many other cool things…

But what if he doesn’t understand his feelings?

What if he doesn’t know what to do when he’s angry, upset, and frustrated?

What if he is sad because he cannot make himself happy all the time?

What if he’s scared because his feelings keep changing during the day?

What if he doesn’t know how to deal with the constant flow of feelings and emotions?

What should you do?

You teach him about emotions and feelings!

You help him understand that his different feelings are normal and are essential parts of dragon beings (and human beings!).

You show him how to recognize all of his feelings - anger, happiness, calm, joy, sadness, surprise, disappointment, scare, anxiety, excitement, and more!

You teach him the proper ways to regulate and handle his emotions and feelings.

You walk him through many emotions and feelings and show him what it feels like to feel each of them, why they’re essential, and what to do with them.

How do you do that?

Get this book now and learn how!

Very Meaningful Book for a 4 year old

My four year old grandson was getting in trouble for throwing things at school. I helped him verbalize what made him throw things. He arrived at he would throw things at whoever upset him. I bought himthis enchanting book about Diggory Doo and his great big feelings. It spoke directly to him. It was so meaningful that he needed to be cuddled by daddy while we read it for the first time. Afterward he took the book in both hands and ran to show it to mommy. Then he put it by his bed. We read it several nights in a row.I think we forget that the real work of a preschooler is making sense of the world and how to be in it. This book helps a little one do that. I let him pick two more so we can explore more of the world of feelings with Diggory Doo.

Feelings of anxiety, loneliness and anger with solutions to.problems are addressed

Steve Herman uses characters Diggory Doo and Drew to illustrate very real situations that children ( and adults ) face frequently. Seeing the situations and accompanying emotions individually help readers to understand cause and effect. That one emotion can trigger others; and that positive feeling can help others to be positive. Hopefully the result of understanding the cause and effect of negative and positive actions will encourage KINDNESS!!Another wonderful Diggory Doo and Drew book.
