Jealousy and envy normal. Can be replaced with happy thoughts

This book has a higher level of vocabulary than some. Interestingly , Diggory Doo says he wants to learn words he doesn't know !!Feelings explained by wanting what some else has or does and forgetting what you have and can do. Taking time to think about your strengths and skills and appreciation of how you can interact with friends will control your envy and jealousy and bring you.joy !!Another " touchy" topic well presented!!

Great book for social=emotional skills lessons!

This book nails jealously and envy on the head with examples of social situations, identification of the feeling with words, and Herman turns it around to point out what kiddos DO get should be valued.BRAVO, Herman! Thank you for listening to what kiddos need!

I would definitely recommend this book as a tool for dealing with jealousy between children. Whilst caring for Twins (boy and girl) at the moment, I found this book particularly useful as whilst reading the story its given the opportunity to discuss the incidents we have experienced due to sibling conflicts/rivalry caused by jealousy. Whilst reading the story this has given us the opportunity to talk about the incidents calmly. This book is beautiful illustrated and well written. highly recommended.
