A Cute Story to Teach Kids Not to Take Things that Don't Belong to Them (My Dragon Books – Volume 58).

Having a pet dragon is very fun! He can sit, rollover, and play… He can candle a birthday cake, lit a campfire, or so many other cool things…

But what if Your Dragon is Stealing?

✖ What if he sneaks a candy bar from the store?
✖ What if he steals a friend's toy and brings it home?
✖ What if he takes a book from the library without checking out and returning it?
✖ What if whenever he sees something he likes, he would just take it?
✖ What if he doesn't understand that taking things from others without permission is wrong?

What should you do?

✔ You teach him that stealing is wrong!
✔ You show how it feels to have things stolen from him.
✔ You help him understand why it's wrong when he's stealing – no matter how big or small the items are.
✔ You teach him to return the stolen items and apologize for his poor behavior choices.
✔ And much more…

How do you do that?

This book hit home

Everyone has taken something that doesn't belong to them. I know I have a lollipop when I was 6 yrs. old and had to return it to store and apologize to store owner. I will never forget. I can only hope that this book will do the same for my grandsons. The oldest in 3rd grade would bring home the teachers erasers from her treasure chest in kindergarten. We would make him take them back and apologize to the teacher. I've asked my grandson to read this book to me over and over and also to his 5yr old brother who is now in kindergarten, I have hopes this will help him from stealing. I think this book is well overdue as I watch violence in our country and lotters stealing things that don't belong to them. Maybe if they would have had a better upbring and had a book to read to help them with their morals the world would be a better place. I've purchased 35 of Steve Herman's books and feel there great learning books for young minds. They are written in such a way a 3rd grader can read them easily and understand their meanings. Stop the Dragon from Stealing is one of my favorites. If we are going to turn the world around, we have to start one child at a time, and this book is just one way to do that. Your child or grandchild might just need to hear from a dragon that stealing is so wrong. We loved this book and so will the young person in your life.
