My grandson is a young 8 year old and LOVES his first dragon book, "Teach your Dragon to Follow Instructions". We have ordered 2 more and will eventually get the series. It is valuable because the book makes a child realize things they may be doing in a gentle way without a lecture. Also, we purchase the hardcover, and it is definitely worth the money.

A review from a 5 and 7.5 year old: We loved the book, and especially Diggory Doo. We learned to control ourselves and to pay attention. We loved reading it!

only dislike would be the use of hard-headed and any other negative types of language. I think it inappropriate to use name-calling/shame to describe normal behaviors in kids, like having trouble listening.

My son loves this book! Very helpful with littles who are stubborn.

Very awesome books!! It helps me teach my kids insightful lessons. And gives me a plateform which they enjoy!!! He keeps asking me to buy more of this series
